Let’s go! Energy … There is a negative and positive energy that we project every day. People love being around those who project the positive. Energy, Enthusiasm, and Exercise – sometimes you just need to get up, look up, stay up, and light it up! Don’t wait. Make it happen!
and …
Oh, ok …
Hundreds of videos could have been included above, and without a doubt, one of the mentioned videos must have made you hit the “energy up” button. If not, perhaps I can help.
Everything, whether visible or invisible, physical or abstract, filters through the lens of our five senses, and perhaps even a sixth sense.
I’ve discovered that the following gives me the spark to overflow with energy and enthusiasm.
- Touch: Physical touch can be surprisingly powerful in boosting energy and enthusiasm.
- Baseball bat
- Nerf basketball and wall mounted hoop
- Cold water splashed on my face
- Warmth of the sun on my skin
- Exercise gear like dumbbells
- Fidget tools like Stress balls, textured cubes, or rubber bands (baseball bat – again) can increase focus and energy by engaging your hands
- Textured items.
- Site: Visual stimuli can have a powerful effect on energy and enthusiasm!
- Sunlight – Natural light helps regulate mood and energy levels.
- Moving water – Watching waves, waterfalls, or fountains can be refreshing and invigorating.

- Action scenes – Watching sports, dance performances, or fast-paced movement can energize the mind. (Above videos)
- Success symbols – Trophies, medals, or achievement boards can inspire motivation. I also have framed letters from customers.
- Hearing: Sound can be a powerful energizer! Here are some things people can hear that boost enthusiasm and energy:
- Upbeat music – Fast-paced tunes, especially with strong beats, can instantly lift your mood.
- Laughter – The sound of people laughing is contagious and can make you feel more lively.
- Motivational speeches – Hearing inspiring words from leaders or coaches can spark enthusiasm.
- Cheering crowds – The roar of a stadium or applause can create an adrenaline rush.
- Nature sounds – Birds chirping, ocean waves, or rustling leaves can refresh your mind.
- Positive affirmations – Repeating or hearing uplifting phrases can boost confidence and energy.
- Drumming or rhythmic beats – Percussion sounds can be invigorating and stimulate movement.
- Excited voices – Conversations filled with enthusiasm can be contagious.
- Wind chimes or bells – Gentle, melodic sounds can create a sense of clarity and motivation.
- Think outside the box—there are plenty more!
- Smell: Scents can have a powerful effect on energy and enthusiasm! Here are some invigorating smells that can boost your mood:
- Citrus (lemon, orange, grapefruit) – Fresh, zesty scents that stimulate alertness and positivity.
- Peppermint – Known to enhance focus and provi
- Eucalyptus – Opens up the senses and promotes a feeling of vitality.
- Rosemary – Stimulates mental clarity and can help with concentration.

- Ginger – A sharp, spicy scent that can invigorate the senses.
- Sea breeze or fresh rain – Crisp, natural scents that evoke a feeling of freshness and renewal.
- Colognes and Perfumes – Remember your first cologne or perfume? I use to shower after a sporting event and apply one of two different colognes. Later in life, I had a different scent for each season. When I need to feel youthful and/or rejuvenated, I use the cologne from that era.
